Teresa Alecrim towels

For over 30 years, Teresa Alecrim has shown that it is possible to combine the traditional and modern. Ever faithful to the roots of Portuguese textile design, the brand has always adapted to new trends and the latest tastes in its various products for table, bed, bath and baby. However, Teresa Alecrim’s work doesn’t just stop there: the designer has extended her authenticity and good taste to a number of accessories, from blankets to lavendar sachets, as well as jewellery bags and slippers. With so much talent, internationalisation was an obvious next step and Teresa Alecrim has been doing good business in Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium, England and France, amongst ther countries, since the 1990s.

Pingballs Lamp
Recycling is good for the environment and brilliant for exercising the imagination! For example, did you know that the drum of a washing machine can become a brand new and original standard lamp? This preservation of natural resources is the foundation of Rewashlamp, a brand created by designer Tó Martins in 2011. Present at the 51st edition of Milan Design Week, the Rewashlamp range are easy to transport and assemble and can be personalised by reusing different materials, like table tennis balls (as seen in the Pingballs lamp here), corks and wire scrubbers, lending an individual touch of colour and texture.
