COLD LITTLE HEART, MICHAEL KIWANUKA

More attentive souls will recognise this song as the opening music for Big Little Lies. It was written and performed by London producer Michael Kiwanuka and is found on the album Love & Hate (2016), which topped the charts in the UK. Recently, he has lent his soulful voice to Olivia Rose British artist Tom Misch’s song “Money”.

SEI LÁ, PROJOTA, VITÃO

The São Paulo rapper has had to overcome plenty of obstacles on the journey from MC battles to his third album. The inspiration for Tributo aos Sonhadores I comes mainly from his career. Using a more romantic ambience, Projota invites Vitão to contribute both his voice and guitar to “Sei Lá”.

The Asian-British artist’s versatile oeuvre visits a variety of the world’s musical genres and sometimes mixes it with jazz and electronic sounds. Winner of the Ivor Novello Lifetime Achievement, he composes for theatre, dance and cinema (e.g., the soundtrack for Netflix’s Mowgli). He celebrates the 20th anniversary of the album Beyond Skin at Lisbon’s CCB in November.
