3 things about Ford vs Ferrari

Matt Damon is one of Hollywood's most interesting actors. His partnership with friend and fellow actor Ben Affleck brought him his first taste of fame after they wrote and starred in Good Will Hunting (Best Original Screenplay and nomination for Best Actor, Damon, 1997). He was nominated again for Invictus (2009) and The Martian (2015) and as producer for Best Film for Manchester by the Sea (2016). The Last Duel, a historical drama he wrote again with Affleck and directed by Ridley Scott, is scheduled to be released in 2021.

Christian Bale made his film debut, aged 13, in Spielberg's Empire of the Sun (1987). Later, he stood out in American Psycho (2000), The Machinist (2004) and the Batman trilogy directed by Christopher Nolan. He was nominated for an Oscar for The Fighter (Best Supporting Actor, which he won), American Hustle (2013), The Big Short (2015) and Vice (2018).

Director James Mangold has made few films but they are all interesting, highlights being Cop Land (1997), Girl, Interrupted (1999), Walk the Line (2005) and Logan (2017), which made comic book cinema something more serious, winning an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
